CDC has always been known for its up to date education in dance training. This relatively new program is offered at both the recreational and competitive level. The classes teach students contemporary technique and allow them to learn innovative combinations and choreography. Contemporary gives them a chance to explore their own style and tell a story through their movement. The students perform this new style of dance while enhancing their creativity and self-expression. This new and exciting approach to dance is similar to the contemporary pieces featured on So You Think You Can Dance.  It has become one of our most popular styles for students age 11 and up.
