Karly Monaghan B.M.O.S, A.C.T.R.A


Karly is a passionate performer, innovative choreographer, and dynamic teacher. She recently graduated from Western University of Canada, with a degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies. Her love for the arts extends into many avenues. She can be seen in an acting role in the Family Channel series “The Next Step”, as well as the hit Nickelodeon series “Make it Pop”. Over the years, she has competed in all dance styles both nationally and internationally, and has been recognized for her outstanding achievements. She took home the bronze medal for Canada in Riesa, Germany out of 66 soloists from 58 different countries. She was also selected to represent Canada on the “Dance Canada Show Team” that traveled across the Mediterranean to perform. During her University career, Karly was appointed as a leader among her peers, holding a “Choreography Executive” role within the Western University competitive dance team. With over 20 years of dance training in all styles, competitive gymnastics training, as well as a gymnastics coaching background, her goal is to inspire dancers of all ages with her positive attitude and energetic classes. Karly believes it is her commitment to her students to stay current with choreography trends and dance styles, and continues to educate herself by pursuing learning opportunities such as attending the Dance Teacher Summit in LA, and being a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Karly’s passion for teaching dance has inspired many students between London and the GTA, and she continues to be recognized for her innovative choreography style. As a graduate of the Canadian Dance Company herself, she couldn’t be more excited to inspire these artists of the future to pursue their dreams through hard work and dedication!
