In March 2014 Sue retired after being a Police Officer for 31yrs. She has always been active and involved in a variety of sports having been a competitive figure skater, a cross country ski instructor and baseball player for many years. She has also always loved to dance.
Sue participated in her first Zumba® class 7 years ago and instantly fell in love with the music and movements of the class. She especially enjoys how this type of fitness appeals to every age and fitness level since it can be adapted to suit anybody…and it’s fun!
Sue lost 40lbs since that first class and has maintained the weight loss and a healthier life style. In early 2013 she was asked to consider becoming a Zumba® Instructor; she did and hasn’t looked back!
Sue is licensed to teach Zumba®, Zumba Step® and Aqua Zumba® as well as being certified in First Aid and CPR. In addition to teaching, she also manages the Adult Fitness component of the Canadian Dance Company. She continues to participate in on-line learning modules and extra training jams to stay current and hone her skills.
