Mackenzie Grant


Mackenzie Grant began her dance training at the age of three in Burlington and began her training at CDC at age 11. She began her competitive training at age 6 studying disciplines including; ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop and pointe.

 Through her many years of dance and as a member of the Elite team, she has been privileged with many awards and scholarships, including but not limited to; “Overall Excellence” in her ballet exams for three consecutive years, 2nd Overall Senior Soloist at Showstoppers Dance Competition (Grande Island 2013),1sT Overall Senior Duet (Grande Island 2014)

 Mackenzie has also had the pleasure of performing at events such as, the Mary Kay Cosmetics Gala for three years and the Team Brother Bear Gala for two. You can also see her in the first three seasons of Family Channels hit series, “The Next Step”, as Mackenzie an Elite Dance Academy Member.

 With two years of teaching at CDC and two years as their receptionist, dance has been an ongoing passion, alongside her schooling. Mackenzie is currently enrolled at McMaster University in the prestigious, Honors Psychology, Neuroscience and Cognitive Behavior program.

 Throughout the years, Mackenzie has continued her passion for dance and is thrilled to continue being part of the CDC team and family.
