Hip Hop Instructor
Teniya started dancing at the age of 8 years old initially as a ballet and jazz dancer, it wasn’t until 10 years later when she would find herself in love with Hip Hop. Through training at top drop-in studios in Toronto, and being trained under the likes of Leon Blackwood, Shavar Blackwood and Tamina Pollack-Paris, Teniya grew and has continued to polish her movements and refreshing her outlook on what it is to be a dancer. She can currently be see in a Kotex commercial, and has danced with Kiesza for the MMVAs and WeDay.
Teniya is excited to continue her journey now as a teacher and hopes to help inspire the future dancers of tomorrow to follow their hearts and keep the passion of Dance alive.
