Cora was born with a passion for dance and an innate desire to create. This Toronto born artist has evolved from a classically trained dancer to a respected choreographer, performer and teacher. Her work has appeared on television networks such as CTV, YTV, Breakfast Television, Much Music, Family Channel and Nickelodeon. For Seasons 1 and 2 of the hit YTV show "Make it Pop" Cora worked under the direction of Addy Chan as a member of her choreography team. As well as working behind the scenes, Cora was featured as a dancer in the new Disney musical “Zombies” premiering February 2018. Cora has found a love and balance for both the commercial and theatrical side of dance. She is most proud of her full length show sequel entitled Carné which debut in the Fall of 2016 and 2017. Her work has graced the runway of Fashion Arts Toronto showcasing a collaborative piece with Riatoss Productions in 2017 and looks forward to her future involvement with Fashion Arts Toronto this spring.
In addition to her industry work, Cora is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring youth. She prides herself in creating a safe space for her students to thrive and ultimately flourish into the artists they were meant to be. Cora teaches through the belief dance should be used for all of its divine purposes being communication, therapy, self awareness, expression and prayer. She continues to share her artistic perspective as a freelance choreographer and masterclass teacher across Canada.
