Competitive Programs

Hip Hop Crew Competitive Program

is designed for dancers who are interested in Hip Hop and are looking for a competitive program with a minimum commitment level. This program is perfect for dancers who love watching music videos, Tik Tok's and performing on stage in a group setting.  

Hip Hop Crew: competes in Hip Hop only and takes one additional recreational class of the dancers choice. They attend 2 regional competitons per year where they compete one Hip Hop routine. These dancers dance between 1-2 days per week depending on when they schedule they take their additional second class. These dancers also perform in our year end recital at the Living Arts Center in June.

Part-Time Competitive Program

is designed for dancers who are interested in competition dance at a moderate commitment level, allowing for other activities and family time. CDC's dedicated training and passion for dance will allow these dancers to grow and help them improve technique and skill in a fun setting.

Part Time Competitive: competes in jazz and hip hop only but trains in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop and contemporary. These dancers train 5 hours per week (typically 2-3 days per week) and compete at 3 regional competitions. They also attend 1 convention each season and perform in our year end recitals at the Living Arts Center in June. 

Part-Time Plus Competitive Program 

is designed for dancers who are looking to take their dance training more seriously and on a larger commitment level. This program is perfect for dancers who may wish to join a Full Time Competitive team one day or who are looking to still participate in other activities but want a more dedicated training program.

Part Time Plus Competitive: competes in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop and contemporary (for older dancers ages 11+). These dancers train 10 hours per week (typically 3-4 days per week based on age) and compete at 3 regional competitions. They attend 2 conventions per season and perform in our year end recitals at the Living Arts Center in June. These dancers are also invited to participate in extra choreography in the form of small groups, this is an optional opportunity with an additional fee and rehearsal time. These opportunities are by invitation only in the form of letters given out in November. ​

Full-Time Competitive Program

is designed to truly challenge and inspire children who are serious about dance in a pre-professional setting.

Full Time Competitive: competes in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop and contemporary. These dancers train 10+ hours per week (typically 4-5 days per week based on age) and compete at 4 regional competitions and 1 National Finals each season. They attend 2 conventions per season and perform in our year end recitals at the Living Arts Center in June. ​These dancers are also invited to participate in extra choreography in the form of solos, duets, trios, small groups and guest choreography for older dancers, this is an optional opportunity with additional fees and rehearsal times. These opportunities are by invitation only in the form of letters given out in November.
