Morial Joseph

Hip Hop/Contemporary Instructor

Morial has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Before she started teaching, she danced at CDC for 12 years, and was in our competitive program, where she trained extensively in Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro, and Pointe. Morial has represented CDC in multiple improvisation competitions, and in 2017, placed in the Top 3 of Fever Dance Championship’s improv dancers. This win only increased her desire to continue pursuing her passion for creativity in dance — which she now channels into both her choreography and continued improvisation. Morial has always loved, and thrived in leadership roles, and took many on during her time as a student at CDC. She feels very lucky to be able to teach, as it combines mentorship and dance. She is also very grateful that she is able to give children the gift of inspiration and encouragement, in the same environment that it was given to her. Morial’s personal style is a Contemporary fusion, but she loves teaching all styles of dance, and is extremely excited to continue to foster creativity and growth in her students again this season!
