Welcome to the Canadian Dance Company, where character takes dancers centre stage.

Family-owned and operated since its beginning, CDC has supported the Oakville and Mississauga communities with stimulating, rigorous and encouraging dance classes for over 25 years. Our competitive and recreational programs help develop each student’s creative expression and character along with flexibility, strength and dancing prowess. Whatever skill level or goal you enter with--from seasoned jazz performer to uncertain beginner, from aspiring national champion to burgeoning ballerina--the Canadian Dance Company has a program to help you reach your personal potential.

Innovation and creativity are at the heart of our teaching methods. Instruction at CDC focuses on the fundamental spirit and philosophy behind each kind of dance, whether the timing, percussion and musicality of tap or the gravity-defying contortions of acrobatics and gymnastics. We currently offer classes in a wide variety of dance styles, including:

• musical theatre

• gymnastics

And more, with courses and instructors available to help dancers and performers at all ages and stages of their development.

Full- and part-time competitive dance programs at CDC are designed with a professional dance career in mind and have won 5 consecutive National Championships and counting! Our recreational students put on first-rate performances at the end of each dance season and often go on to progress through various levels of the program, even into competitive classes.

We welcome students from ages three through adult and also offer unique, innovative programs like our all-boys competitive hip-hop course and contemporary jazz fusion classes.
